Important Installation Note: Wood Stone uses Hardi Backer cement board if you order your oven 'facade ready'. Please be advised, that a layer of Thin Set or an approved adhesive for high heat needs to be applied to the cement board before the facade material, i.e.; tile, bricks, stone, etc.
#1 Standard Flat Wall Facade Tutorial
This tutorial covers issues related to installing your Wood Stone behind a standard flat wall which can be covered with many different finish types.It's the "Do It Yourself" approach in this tutorial. Please note tutorials 3 & 4 which use Wood Stone's unique Facade Extensions.
#2 Corner Installation Facade Tutorial
(with a Mt. Chuckanut Oven)
This tutorial covers issues related to installing your 4' Mt. Chuckanut oven behind a wall in a corner installation which can be covered with many different finish types. (Note the Mt. Chuckanut has a different footprint shape than our larger ovens, so some specifics vary, but the general concept is adaptable).
This is also a "Do It Yourself" facade. Flat-face doorway and panel/box extensions from Wood Stone's unique line of Facade Extensions can be used to simplify your corner wall facading challenges.
